Junior Data Scientist

Summary

Dynamis is hiring a Junior Data Scientist/Statistician to support a government client in Washington, DC. The role requires collaboration with the client to design and develop solutions based on business requirements.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship
• BA/BS degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, Information Management, or a closely related field
• Ability to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation to obtain public trust clearance or higher
• At least three (3) years of data analytics-related experience or relevant/similar experience
• Initial level of understanding about maintaining and complying with requirements for the following task areas: collecting, compiling, processing, normalizing, analyzing, and interpreting data using and configuring systems support tools such as SAS, R, Tableau, Access, SharePoint, Power Apps and Excel
• Experience with documenting and reviewing data sharing agreements
• Customer service and communication skills relaying technical concepts
• Experience with managing data quality, cleansing, tagging, archiving and metadata management
• Experience with testing and implementing application software with regards to collecting, processing, and storing data
