Summary

The Junior Digital Media Designer will design visual content for various digital channels under the guidance of the Art Director, collaborate with cross-functional teams, optimize designs for e-commerce storefronts, and manage multiple projects. The ideal candidate should have a design portfolio, education in design, professional experience in digital media design, proficiency in industry-standard design tools, strong understanding of digital marketing best practices, excellent communication skills, and illustration skills are an asset.

Requirements

  • A design portfolio that showcases excellent design taste and polished, professional work
  • Education in design and/or design theory (certificate, diploma, or degree)
  • Professional experience in digital media design
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, etc.), Figma, and Canva

Responsibilities

  • Design visual content for various digital channels, including social media, email campaigns, web storefronts (Shopify, Amazon), landing pages, and digital ads
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop creative assets for A/B tests
  • Innovate with visual storytelling techniques that communicate Mysa’s mission and product benefits in a clear, compelling way
  • Optimize designs for our e-commerce storefront, keeping user experience and accessibility at the forefront
  • Stay ahead of design trends, bringing fresh ideas and creative solutions to the team
  • Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines, maintaining high-quality standards and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • UI/UX design and/or motion graphics skills are a strong asset
  • Illustration skills are an asset
  • Experience with e-commerce is an asset
