Requirements

  • You're an enthusiastic, ambitious, kind engineer eager to learn and build software that makes a difference

  • Collaboration & Communication: Proactive and clear communicator, verbally and through writing where you’re comfortable asking thoughtful questions and seeking guidance
  • Problem-Solving & Drive: Curious, analytical, detail-oriented, adaptable in finding solutions
  • Solid software development knowledge and problem-solving skills, demonstrated through a CS degree, bootcamp, impressive personal projects, or relevant career transition experience
  • Understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and exposure to frontend frameworks (React)
  • Eagerness to learn backend concepts, API design, and relational databases (Node/Postgres)

Responsibilities

  • Contribute & Learn: Write reliable, well-tested code for impactful features under senior guidance, quickly mastering our tech stack and best practices
  • Collaborate: Actively participate in code reviews, team discussions (on developer experience, architecture, new tools), and work closely with product managers, QA, and designers
  • Grow: Embrace mentorship and seek opportunities to enhance your skills/understanding
