Junior Group Controller

Summary

Join our team as a Junior Group Controller and take on key responsibilities in the preparation and execution of the group's consolidated financial statements.

Requirements

• Have completed a successful commercial education or business economics bachelor's degree
• Bring first professional experience in a similar position and (international) company size, with good knowledge of financial controlling
• Have experience in consolidated accounting (according to IFRS) and ideally in IDL.KONSIS
• Possess advanced MS Office user knowledge (especially Excel)
• Be characterized by analytical approach, developed numerical understanding, and attention to detail
• Have a well-developed communication ability and intercultural competence, with enjoyment working in a team
• Possess very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking, and be willing to make occasional business trips (ca. 2-3 per year) to our global country companies

Responsibilities

• Work in the modern Group Controlling / Accounting Team of a globally operating company
• Act as key figure in preparing and executing the group's consolidated financial statements (especially annual statements according to HGB and IFRS)
• Be in close exchange with our group companies and coordinate the preparation of financial statements and reporting, including checking drafts per country
• Take care of timely creation of predetermined and regular consolidated reports
• Support in analyzing the monthly and annual statement from a management and group perspective
• Advise management and group companies on improving data quality of balance sheet and internal reconciliation
• Take over the professional administration and optimization of digital data sources for respective financial statements (IDL.KONSIS)
