Junior Growth Marketing

Summary

The job is for a growth marketing role at Nomic, a biotech company specializing in protein profiling. The candidate will execute and report on various marketing experiments, learn about user acquisition, interview users, and communicate the problems faced by life science R&D teams. The role offers a full-time position with a contract-to-hire option, remote or flexible work, and a salary ranging from $60,000 to $100,000 per year.

Requirements

• A master’s degree in biochemistry, biology, experimental medicine, immunology, bioengineering, synthetic biology, or similar
• 0-3 years of experience in marketing, business development, or similar roles
• Clear, concise writing skills
• A track record of building and executing on projects (Grad school projects/research count)
• Comfortable learning new tech on your own
• Comfortable with basic mental math

Responsibilities

• Executing and reporting on all growth marketing experiments
• Learning the nuts-and-bolts of user acquisition, including copywriting, digital ads, conferences, writing landing pages, etc
• Interviewing users and listening to sales calls
• Communicating the problems facing biologists aiming to leverage proteomics today, and how to help them solve those problems, at scale

Preferred Qualifications

Experience doing some kind of marketing is a plus, even if it’s for a student group or a family member’s business
