Join Pondurance as a Junior Incident Response Consultant and contribute to a team dedicated to helping organizations detect and respond to cyber threats. You will support forensic investigations, assisting in containment, eradication, and data access forensic efforts. This role involves analyzing datasets, identifying malicious activities, and communicating findings to the internal team. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and experience with incident response lifecycles and various attack vectors. Requirements
- Bachelorβs Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience in related field
- Lifecycle of a Business Email Compromise
- Phishing Attacks
- Ability to Leverage Various Tools to Timeline Compromise
Responsibilities
- Support the Incident Response lifecycle from containment through reporting needs at the guidance of Principal and Senior consultants
- Perform forensic analysis of relevant datasets and convey findings to internal Pondurance team
- Identify indicators of malicious or unauthorized activities within forensic evidence
- Communicate forensic findings in an organized format to internal team
- Convey potential gaps in evidence to internal team
- Provide after-hours support, as needed per investigation
