You will oversee patient engagement activities, from proposal development to study execution, encompassing both recruitment and retention strategies. Key responsibilities include developing and managing patient recruitment and retention strategies, coordinating Allucent's Patient Direct Trial offerings, and ensuring compliance with regulations. This hybrid/remote role requires a life science degree, 8+ years of experience in clinical research, and strong knowledge of ICH/GCP. Leadership skills and experience managing teams are essential. Requirements
- Life science, healthcare and/or business degree
- Minimum 8 years of experience in drug development and/or clinical research
- Excellent knowledge of ICH /GCP, FDA and country regulations
- Strong customer service orientation

Responsibilities
- Develop study specific strategies to address individual study patient recruitment and retention challenges and identify Patient Direct Trail (PDT) opportunities
- Develop the proposal text and budget to align with both the Patient Recruitment and Retention strategy and the PDT strategy
- Work with Patient Recruitment companies to seek proposals and costed budget aligned with the said strategy
- Work with PDT partners
- Attend Bid Defense meetings to represent Patient Engagement components of the study strategy (includes both Patient Recruitment / Retention and PDT)
- Develop, manage, and deploy specific Patient Recruitment and Retention strategies and tactics
- Develop Recruitment and Retention materials in line with study need and agreed study scope
- Work with and manage digital outreach campaign / vendor in line with study timelines, geographical reach
- Coordinate and manage deployment of site-specific strategies such as Clinical Enrollment Managers, Enrollment Assistants or other site supporting tactics as agreed
- Work closely with (and in coordination with the sponsor) designated Patient Advocacy Groups to support the study as per agreed scope
- Oversee and manage junior members of the Patient Engagement team with regards to deliverables, project allocation, utilization and workload
- Assist the team in managing time and tasks to adhere to study budget and timelines, while achieving quality, compliance and efficiency
- Manage the day-to-day functional and organizational activities for assigned studies
- Coordinate, manage Allucent’s Patient Direct Trial offering
- Work closely with our PDT partner and our sponsors to ensure PDT deliverables stay on track and on time
- Conduct UAT testing of study specific PDT Patient Apps
- Work cross functionally as required by the PDT scope with other Allucent departments such as Biometrics, Project Management, Consultancy, GCO and study start-up
- Keep oversight to ensure compliance to the SOPs and ICH/GCP/regulatory guidelines and best practices as well compliance to the department and project metrics
- Initiate course of action to achieve/ sustain compliance and efficiency
- Contribute to Patient Engagement system and process improvement initiatives
- Be an active member of the Patient Engagement management team
- Lead by example and encourage PE team members to develop strong solutions for clinical trial delivery
- Be assigned as line manager (may be)

- Contribute as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the field of Patient Engagement (which includes both Patient Recruitment and Retention and Allucent’s PDT offering) as well as evaluation/improvement of processes including underlying instructions and templates within the Quality Management System
- Support the Patient Engagement Leadership in analyzing audits, inspections, quality incidents, project issues, metrics and trends observed to contribute to building a high performing team and learning organization
- Assure good communication and relationships with (future) clients and other external stakeholders (e.g. Patient Recruitment vendors, Decentralized Trial Vendors and clinical sites)
- Contribute and take part in business development activities, client evaluations, visits, proposals and bid defenses
- Contribute to other areas of business as required
