Junior Linux System Administrator

Summary

Join Vultr's System Administration team as a Junior Linux System Administrator and contribute to the operational stability and growth of our platform. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to address and prevent platform issues, providing excellent customer service and maintaining our infrastructure. This entry-level position offers dedicated weekly training and opportunities for growth within a cutting-edge cloud infrastructure company. The role involves responding to platform alerts, identifying and resolving issues, coordinating with other departments, and maintaining the customer platform infrastructure. Requirements

• Experience with Linux Command line
• Basic knowledge of enterprise networking
• The ability to interact with customers in a professional manner
• Strong communication skills
• An ability to learn and a desire to grow in this entry level position

Responsibilities

• Answering inquiries and educating customers about our products and services
• First responder to platform level alerts and issues
• Identifying causes and implementing solutions to issues
• Coordinating with other departments to resolve platform problems
• Resolving customer complaints
• Maintaining our customer platform infrastructure
• Dedicated weekly training
• 24/7 team operations. Working shift placement will be at company discretion
