Junior Loan Officer

Summary

Join our expanding Reverse Mortgage Division as a Jr. Loan Officer! This full-time, remote position offers paid training, commission-based earnings, and a comprehensive benefits package. You will work alongside a Senior Loan Officer, developing sales skills and building a referral network. Responsibilities include handling inbound leads, performing loan calculations, and establishing relationships with local professionals. The position requires at least two years of residential mortgage loan origination experience and an NMLS license in California. A strong plus is experience with Salesforce. We offer paid training, a base rate plus commission, and benefits including medical, vision, dental, 401k, and FSA.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of residential mortgage loan origination experience
• NMLS licensed in California under DFPI
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Work under the guidance of a Senior Loan Officer to enhance performance and production
• Engage in consistent outreach to Financial Planners, Realtors, and other referral partners through calls, visits, and networking events
• Conduct internet research to identify new business opportunities and assist in problem-solving
• Manage follow-ups and lead pipelines with professionalism and urgency
• Maintain accurate documentation and utilize CRM tools effectively
• Perform basic loan calculations and assist clients with understanding product options

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce
• Prior experience with reverse mortgages or corporate lead handling
