Junior Mid-Market Account Executive

Summary

Join Samsara, a pioneer in the Connected Operations™ Cloud, as a dynamic and high-energy Account Executive. You will bring the Internet of Things to mid-sized customers in the DACH region, focusing on sales ranging from $20k to $100k. This remote position, with occasional customer visits, requires expertise in outbound prospecting, cold-calling, and managing complex sales cycles. Success hinges on building genuine customer relationships and a deep understanding of diverse businesses. You'll collaborate with internal stakeholders and champion Samsara's cultural principles. Relocation assistance is not provided; eligible candidates can be based in Germany, Amsterdam, London, or Paris.

Requirements

• Commercial Account Executive experience with closing responsibility, plus 2+ years in an out-bound, prospecting role (BDR, SDR or ADR), working the DACH market
• Expertise in high-volume cold-calling
• Fluency in German
• Highly proficient in English
• Proven high-performance
• Growth mindset

Responsibilities

• Work on strategic account mapping & outbound prospecting
• Own customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification to close
• Work collaboratively with a team of internal / cross-functional stakeholders to remove deal blockers
• Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
