This dynamic, high-energy role focuses on bringing IoT solutions to mid-sized customers in the DACH region, with sales typically exceeding $10,000. As a remote-based Account Executive, you will manage the entire sales process, from prospecting and qualification to closing deals. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and champion Samsara's cultural principles. This position requires experience in outbound prospecting and closing deals in the DACH market, fluency in German and English, and a proven track record of high performance. Occasional customer visits within the DACH region will be required.

Requirements

  • Commercial Account Executive experience with closing responsibility, plus 2+ years in an out-bound, prospecting role (BDR, SDR or ADR), working the DACH market
  • Expertise in high-volume cold-calling
  • Fluency in German
  • Highly proficient in English
  • Proven high-performance
  • Growth mindset

Responsibilities

  • Work on strategic account mapping & outbound prospecting
  • Own customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification to close
  • Work collaboratively with a team of internal / cross-functional stakeholders to remove deal blockers
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
