Summary

Join Andworx as a Junior .NET Developer and contribute to the development of mission-critical applications for our Federal Government client. You will be part of an Agile team utilizing technologies like ASP.NET, .NET Core, and Azure DevOps. This role involves collaborating with developers, testers, and stakeholders to deliver solutions meeting customer needs. The position is currently remote but may require on-site work in the Washington, DC area. You will have high visibility, developing impactful applications. Candidates must possess relevant experience and a strong technical skillset.

Requirements

  • Have 1-3 years of experience developing enterprise level applications, preferably in a Federal Government environment
  • Have hands-on experience with ASP.NET, .NET Core, C# .NET, MVC, MVVM, Entity and similar .NET design patterns and frameworks
  • Have experience and understanding in developing responsive and web enabled applications, including web services integration utilizing REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML
  • Have experience with relational data models working in an Oracle database environment
  • Have understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile Kanban and Scrum
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, with both technical and non-technical people
  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field or equivalent years' experience
  • Be a U.S. Citizen and be able to successfully obtain and maintain a Position of Trust clearance

Responsibilities

  • Develop enterprise applications and support end-to-end software development and delivery in an Agile Microsoft code-base environment
  • Apply understanding of application development processes, coding standards, and performance standards to develop, test, and deploy engaging software solutions
  • Work with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to understand customer business processes, objectives, and solution requirements
  • Use agile techniques to prepare user stories and acceptance criteria to meet prioritized requirements
  • Participate in testing, packaging, and delivering software and documentation to a production environment
  • Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and improve applications as well as compile and assess user feedback to improve software performance
  • Develop enterprise applications and support end-to-end software development and delivery in an Agile Microsoft code-base environment
  • Use various scripting and programming languages to develop, test and deploy software solutions
