Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software development with a focus on application projects
• Proficiency in SQL, VB6, VB.NET, and C#
• Experience in web application development and modern web technologies
• Strong understanding of application lifecycle management, from design to deployment
• Expertise in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, using tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using VB6, VB.NET, C#, and SQL
• Develop and implement web applications, ensuring performance, scalability, and a user-friendly experience
• Modernize legacy systems to align with current technologies and platforms
• Lead application projects and provide technical direction and mentorship to junior developers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver effective solutions
• Integrate applications with external systems through APIs and custom solutions
• Customize existing applications to address evolving business needs
• Optimize application performance using efficient coding practices and troubleshooting techniques
• Conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and maintain high code quality
• Develop test plans and scripts to validate functionality and performance
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes
• Create and maintain technical documentation for all development efforts
• Ensure clear documentation for knowledge transfer and ongoing maintenance
