Junior Product Owner

Summary

The job description is for a Junior Product Owner position in Poland, working with a client. Requirements

• Must have cybersecurity domain expertise – either by education, certification, or past work experience
• Relevant experience working with product and development teams on SaaS applications or recent graduate with relevant studies
• Demonstrated ability to learn and effectively use tools in agile development such as Jira, Confluence, Figma

Responsibilities

• Responsible for documenting clear business specifications and outcomes
• Ensure key stakeholder needs are addressed
• Participate in user research to empathize with user needs
• Ensure the near-term roadmap is executed (i.e., backlog prioritization) according to plan
• Report on the status of the short-term product roadmap
• Be engaged in all (time zone permitting) agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily sprint standups
• Provide real-time feedback to development, addressing any issues mid-sprint

Preferred Qualifications

• Cybersecurity certification such as GIAC, CISSP, CompTIA Security+ or similar
• Agile or scrum methodology certification such as Professional Scrum Product Owner or similar
• Product owner/manager certification such as Pragmatic Institute or similar
