Summary

The job is for a 4+ year experienced Functional/Manual Tester in Investment Banking at Capco, a global tech and management consulting firm. Responsibilities include test automation, understanding OOPs concepts, using Continuous Integration tools, learning new things, and working closely with Dev and Business Analyst teams.

Requirements

• 4+ years of IT experience in Functional Testing/ Manual Testing role
• Experience in developing test automation for Web applications
• Good knowledge about testing concepts and understanding of OOPs concepts and strong in core Java skills
• Experience in automating API and backend processes
• Good to Have Knowledge/Work Experience on Playwright
• Demonstrate a high level of subject matter expertise to bridge functional requirements and technical solution
• Strong working knowledge of various test types including white-box, black-box, positive/negative, edge cases etc
• Solid test design skills, test case writing, automation, and analysis
• Strong working knowledge of various test phases including functional, integration and regression
• Work closely with Dev and Business Analyst team to understand the functional requirements
• Actively participate in squad ceremonies Sprint Refinements, Planning, Retrospective and daily standups

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to learn new things and exhibit innovative testing approach
• Good to Have Knowledge/Work Experience on Cypress and Non-Functional testing
