Junior Quantity Surveyor

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in quantity surveying specifically with a Quantity Surveying firm (candidates with experience only in construction firms will not be considered)
• Familiarity with quantity surveying software (e.g., Candy, WinQS) is an advantage
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and a strong grasp of building regulations and standards
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for projects
• Conduct quantity take-offs from project drawings and specifications
• Support project teams in monitoring progress and managing financial variances
• Participate in site visits to assess project developments and financial performance
• Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations
• Maintain accurate records of project costs, transactions, and changes
• Contribute to the preparation of contract documentation and tender submissions
