Junior Quantity Surveyor

Hire Resolve is seeking a talented Junior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established team in Pretoria. In this position, you will collaborate with senior professionals to manage project costs and assist in delivering construction projects on time and within budget. Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing project budgets, estimates, and cost plans

• Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications

• Support in managing and reviewing project contracts

• Collaborate with the project team to ensure compliance with the financial requirements

• Track project expenses and provide regular financial reporting

• Engage with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing

• Participate in site visits and meetings with stakeholders

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field

• Final-year student, graduate, or junior with a maximum of 1 year of experience in quantity surveying

• Understanding of Private Sector (Commercial) in a consulting environment

• Proficient in relevant quantity surveying software

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to travel to project sites as necessary

• Salary : Negotiable
