Junior SRE Engineer

Summary

Join DEPT®'s Technology Business Unit in Skopje as a DevOps/SRE Engineer and contribute to crafting forward-thinking solutions for clients like Meta, TikTok, and Netflix. This hybrid role involves setting up CI/CD pipelines, advising clients, collaborating with business teams, automating processes, and maintaining platform uptime. You will be part of a diverse team of over 100 professionals in a spacious office. The position requires at least one year of experience as a DevOps/SRE engineer or Linux/Windows systems administrator, along with experience in internet setups, cloud platforms, and DevOps tooling. Requirements

• Have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a (DevOps/SRE) engineer or 1 years as a Linux/Windows systems administrator
• Have experience with basic Internet setups, troubleshooting or monitoring: including networking, email deliverability, SSL, NS records, domains and various 3rd party tools
• Have gained some experience with any of the bigger cloud platforms (MS Azure specific experience is a plus!)
• Have experience with DevOps tooling like CI/CD, orchestration and monitoring
• Are good in working together with colleagues from different disciplines
• Are driven to learn new skills
• Are proactive, communicative and not afraid to ask questions
• Are eager to work closely with our clients at DEPT® and sometimes at client sites
• Can switch from serious to play in a heartbeat
• Speak English fluently
• Are based in Macedonia

Responsibilities

• Set up CI/CD pipelines on various platforms
• Enjoy communicating with clients and advising on the best solutions
• Work closely with business teams to maintain the best platforms for clients worldwide
• Create long-term simplicity and automate processes to enable the team to deliver quality
• Maintain an SRE mindset, prioritizing platform uptime
• Handle 24x7 pager duty on a rotating basis

Preferred Qualifications

• Having experience in automating processes with fitting technologies like Terraform, Cloudformation, ARM, Ansible, etc is a plus!
• Any programming experience is a plus!
