Requirements

• BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
• Prior internship or work experience preferred
• Engineering Intern Certification (or ability to obtain in 6-12 months)
• Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD/Civil3D and/or Bentley Microstation/InRoads or Open Roads

Responsibilities

• Support a variety of projects for a variety of clients
• Collection of data, existing condition and alternative analysis evaluation for engineering reports
• Development of horizontal and vertical alignments
• Performing cross section and super-elevation design
• Roadside barrier design
• ADA curb ramp design
• Roadway modeling
• Storm sewer and small culvert design
• Maintenance of traffic design
• Providing general transportation engineering design support

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of civil engineering design concepts
• Experience with MS Office products including Word and Excel
