Junior/Mid DevOps Engineer, Remote - Europe

Summary

The job description is for a Junior/Mid DevOps Engineer role at LI.FI and Jumper.exchange. The role requires proficiency in Python or shell scripting, experience with Terraform or Terragrunt, proficiency with one of the cloud providers (AWS or GCP), knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, experience with CI servers like GitHub Actions, familiarity with application deployment using Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and Helm, strong communication skills, ability to work well within a team and independently, curiosity and willingness to learn, passion for technology and continuous improvement, and professional experience in web3 is a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field
• Extensive professional experience (at least 1-2 years for Junior and 3-5 years for Mid) in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role
• Proficiency in Python or shell scripting
• Experience with Terraform or Terragrunt
• Proficiency with one of the cloud providers (AWS or GCP)
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI servers like GitHub Actions
• Familiarity with application deployment using Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and Helm

Responsibilities

• Support the backend and Jumper development teams with special requests such as production database access and log investigation
• Develop, maintain, and evolve infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Support in building dashboards and metrics to gain greater insight into infrastructure and systems
• Help set up processes and automation for monitoring, alerting, and logging across systems
• Assist in the continuous improvement of our CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure
• Ensure compliance with our architecture, information security policies, and engineering strategy by applying standard methodologies, processes, and tools
• Support in solving and preventing operational issues

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional experience in web3 is a plus
• Knowledge of TypeScript, Node.js, and Next.js is a plus
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Professional DevOps Engineer, or similar, are a plus
