Summary
Join Pepperstone as their Knowledge Management Specialist and contribute to operationalizing the Knowledge Management Framework, enhancing collaboration, and improving content quality. You will design and deliver training, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and create comprehensive documentation. Responsibilities include leading quality assurance, partnering with stakeholders to prioritize activities, and supporting the knowledge management framework. The ideal candidate possesses 4+ years of experience in knowledge management or a related field, preferably in financial services. This role requires excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, experience with Confluence and Salesforce, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Requirements
- 4+ yearsโ experience in knowledge management, information science, organisational development or related field, preferably in Financial Services or FinTech
- Demonstrated experience in technical writing including producing, reviewing and documenting to a high standard, specific to process and procedure writing, and ensuring accuracy and adherence to relevant style guides and standards from effective information gathering
- Demonstrated ability to apply quality written, verbal and interpersonal skills, including ability to interpret and apply policy, guidelines, business rules, analyse system processes and process map solutions
- Extensive experience in developing standards, processes and procedures
- Experience in Confluence and Salesforce in the context of knowledge management
- Familiarity of the use of AI to summarise, classify and extract knowledge from unstructured and semi-structured content
- Experience in a fast-moving transformation environment, proactive and comfortable working with a degree of ambiguity and comfortable with an agile, test and learn approach
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams including facilitating workshops with different audiences
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for improving practices
Responsibilities
- Contribute to operationalising the Knowledge Management Framework aligned with Pepperstoneโs strategic goals through clear and actionable processes, standards, and procedures
- Identify, evaluate and embed Knowledge Management best practices across the organisation to enhance collaboration, consistency and content quality
- Design and deliver training sessions to enhance team capabilities and adoption of knowledge management practices
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration by working closely with Technical Owners, Business Sponsors, Data Stewards and other stakeholders, facilitating tool adoption and standardised workflows
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, guides, and reference materials that align with existing policies and industry good practices
- Support the knowledge management framework and the co-authors from various business units in the creation, development and use of internal knowledge content and governance framework
- Lead quality assurance and optimisation of knowledge workflows by collaborating with content creators, subject matter experts, reviewers and approvers to maintain high standards (improve accuracy, reduce redundancy)
- Partner with leadership and key stakeholders to prioritise knowledge management activities, oversee content lifecycle management, and enable effective change management and transition processes
- Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by the manager to meet reasonable operational and/or other requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with data classification and Enterprise Business Glossary
- Experience of contemporary cloud data-management technology (preferably AWS)
