LATAM Ecommerce Sales Solution Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Sales Solutions Engineer at Pipe17, a fast-growing ecommerce operations automation software startup. The role involves supporting the sales team, defining project scopes, technical proposals, and pricing, and offering compelling product demonstrations. The ideal candidate has experience in pre-selling or selling ecommerce solutions, is a customer advocate, and has deep knowledge of technologies such as HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS, Typescript, Node.js, GraphQL, EDI, APIs, etc.

Requirements

• Robust background in architecting solutions, project management, and technical solution development from experience in ecommerce technology
• Experience in pre-selling or selling ecommerce solutions, iPaaS and technical knowledge for platform and integration models via API
• Customer advocacy both pre-sales and post sales
• Develop and deliver compelling presentations and world-class demos that address complex business problems
• Deep knowledge of technologies such as HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS, Typescript, Node.js, GraphQL, EDI, APIs, etc
• Ability to work multi-functionally with colleagues and managers, internally and externally
• Translate complexity into action plans and communications
• Translate the customers’ needs into business and architectural solutions
• Tech & math mindset, providing simple solutions to complex problems
• Convey clearly – and with conviction – the benefits and differentiators of your product
• Assist with demand generation activities
• Maintain a positive, enthusiastic disposition during all interactions
• Resourceful and creative, continuously innovative ways and techniques to improve outcomes
• Results-driven self-starter with the ability to work independently and thrive in a competitive environment

• Define project scope, technical proposal, and pricing
