Summary

The job is for a Remote Lawyer who will provide legal advice and representation to clients remotely. The lawyer will work independently from their home office using online platforms and tools. They are expected to advise clients on their legal rights, conduct legal research, draft legal documents, represent clients in court proceedings, maintain client relationships, and perform administrative tasks.

Requirements

• A Law degree from an accredited Law School in your country
• A valid license to practice law
• At least 2 years of experience as a lawyer, preferably in a remote setting
• Proficient in using online platforms and tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Willingness to travel occasionally, as required by the cases
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Willing to work on the Pacific Standard Time schedule
• Own Laptop or Desktop (8GB RAM, Core i5 or above) with an internet connection of at least 10 Mbps

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations
• Conduct thorough and accurate legal research
• Draft, review, and edit various legal documents
• Represent clients in civil and criminal court proceedings
• Establish and maintain strong and trusting relationships with your clients
• Collect and analyze information and evidence from clients and other parties
• Collaborate with other lawyers and legal professionals
• Perform various administrative tasks
