Summary

As a Lead Android Engineer at You.com, you will design, develop, and launch innovative Android applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure app quality and optimization. You should have 4-6 years of experience in Android app development, proficiency in Kotlin and Java, and knowledge of the Android tech stack.

Requirements

• Experienced Developer: 4-6 years of solid experience in software development, specifically with a proven track record in Android app development and launching impactful applications in the Play Store
• Proficient with Kotlin and Java
• Strong understanding of Android SDK and different versions of Android
• Architectural Acumen: Significant experience in architecting large-scale Android applications
• Technical Leadership and Mentorship: Demonstrated technical leadership, guiding teams through complex development challenges and providing mentorship to junior developers
• Comprehensive Tech Stack Knowledge: A broad understanding of the Android tech stack
• Lifecycle Management Expertise: Deep familiarity with the full mobile development lifecycle
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional problem-solving skills, capable of addressing complex technical challenges

Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Kotlin Multiplatform (Nice to Have): Familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) is a plus
