Summary

A Lead Backend Engineer is wanted by a Series A blockchain startup with $20M in funding and under 10 employees. The engineer will work on building and innovating the backend and infrastructure of an Ethereum smart contract platform using Rust, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and other technologies. They will contribute to performant systems and ZK proof libraries, impacting early-stage technical decisions for hypergrowth. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 6+ years of professional software engineering experience are required. Fluity in Rust, C++, or other highly performant languages and experience deploying and working on production applications in AWS using orchestration and containerization is necessary. Preferably, the candidate has startup or founding experience and experience with Ethereum's low-level details.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Fluency in Rust, C++, or other highly performant languages
• Experience deploying & working on production applications in AWS using orchestration and containerization (Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes)
