Requirements
- Masterβs degree in bioinformatics with 8+ years post-graduate experience, or PhD with 5+ years of post-graduate experience
- At least 4 years practical experience with data analysis software such as Python or R
- Expert knowledge of bioinformatics tools in mapping, variant calling, CNV analysis and statistical methods
- Familiarity with typical approaches, best practices, and regulatory standards in CLIA product development design
- Ability to produce high quality written documentation for varying audiences
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple objectives and timelines
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with potential for high impact in a small team
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership in the design and execution of complex experiments and all phases of product development
- Design and review statistical methodology in statistical analysis plans and protocols
- Develop algorithms and models for complex data analysis
- Produce high quality written documentation including study protocols, statistical analysis plans and reports, and regulatory submissions
- Act as an internal technical consultant to other functional groups or their members by providing expert advice on bioinformatics methodology
- Performs other duties as assigned
