Lead Consultant, Air Quality Modeler

Summary

Join Ramboll's Environment & Health Division as our new Air Quality Modeler and contribute to creating a sustainable future. This role offers the opportunity to lead air quality dispersion modeling tasks, generate model input data, review model output, conduct independent research, and develop related documents. The ideal candidate will have a BS in a related science field and 5+ years of air quality modeling experience with complex regulatory permit modeling. Preferred locations include Denver, CO, Seattle, WA, Salt Lake City, UT, and Novato, CA, but remote candidates will also be considered. Requirements

• Minimum of a BS in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, Engineering or related science degree
• 5+ years of air quality modeling experience
• Demonstrated experience with complex regulatory permit modeling
• Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Responsibilities

• Lead air quality dispersion modeling tasks using regulatory guideline models
• Independently generate all aspects of model input data and review/diagnosis of model output data
• Independently review and QA work generated by team members
• Independent research and problem solving regarding state and federal modeling guidance
• Develop modeling-related documents include modeling protocols, or reports, and summary of results
• Development and maintenance of scripts to facilitate and expedite the generation of model inputs and outputs

• Annual base salary between $85,000 - $108,000
