Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, operations, or analytics, with a focus on fulfillment and operational excellence
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, with intermediate-to-advanced experience in R or Python for data analysis and automation
- Hands-on experience with tools like Looker, Google BigQuery, and DBT, with the ability to design scalable analytics solutions
- Exceptional ability to design and execute complex analysis projects, including statistical analysis and process optimization
- Superb written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting insights and recommendations to senior, cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong ability to contextualize data and insights within the business landscape, effectively communicating findings to both technical and non-technical teammates
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly changing environments, delivering results under pressure
Responsibilities
- Mentor junior analysts and assist in building a high-performance team of analysts capable of gathering, synthesizing, and analyzing data quickly and accurately
- Design and implement scalable platforms and processes to enable data-driven decisions across multiple business lines, modalities, and treatment types
- Tackle complex problems by determining proper analytical methodologies, deriving actionable insights, and presenting conclusions to cross-functional stakeholders
- Establish and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with throughput and business outcomes, enabling precise performance tracking
- Identify growth and operational optimization opportunities by structuring and executing experiments in collaboration with cross-functional teams; drive knowledge-sharing and adoption of findings across the organization
- Proactively initiate and advocate for bold, high-impact strategic opportunities derived from the teamβs analytics work, influencing executive-level decisions
- Leverage internal and external data to uncover growth opportunities, providing actionable, data-driven recommendations for business expansion
- Partner with teams across Data Engineering, Operations, and Finance to define, build, and execute a data-informed business strategy and operational roadmaps
- Lead the creation of high-quality dashboards, reports, and insights tailored for executive-level consumption, driving informed decision-making at all levels
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MS) in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Familiarity with healthcare data, including compliance with HIPAA/PHI, or experience with two-sided marketplace data
- Demonstrated ability to challenge conventional approaches and drive innovative, high-impact decisions
- Knowledge of operational KPIs and best practices across fulfillment, logistics, supply chain, and customer service
- Proficient understanding of statistical analysis, data science concepts, experimentation and how to implement that knowledge into the functional areas within Operations
- Experience working with DBT and implementing best practices with modeling data
