Requirements

• Already a credible leader with proven success in leading and managing a team of technical colleagues
• Extensive experience with BigQuery and Dataform
• Passionate about the accuracy and completeness of data and the data assurance practices needed to achieve this
• Ability to define the requirements for a data strategy for protecting PII along with their execution
• Strong SQL skills and proven expertise at data modelling
• Enjoy working in an agile environment with an attitude of continuous improvement
• Comfortable getting involved in the usual practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and code reviews

Responsibilities

• Mentoring and managing Data Engineers
• Shaping how we deliver the data models for our business
• Building the ETL pipelines
• Working closely with Data Analysts and other data consumers to identify roadmap deliverables
• Enforcing data quality standards for the accuracy and completeness of our data

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of using a general-purpose programming languages, e.g., Python
