Summary

The job is for a Lead iOS Engineer to join a top world-famous app developer, focusing on native iOS development in Swift, SwiftUI & UIKit. The role involves leading architecture and design, shaping technical roadmaps, conducting code reviews, driving continuous improvement, identifying areas for optimization, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 10 years+ Swift programming experience with a strong knowledge of design patterns, architectural principles, and best practices
• Good command of English, as the teams are spread throughout Asia and Europe
• Experience prioritising, delegating, planning, and executing tasks
• Knowledge of using data to understand user behaviour and product usage, able to identify opportunities to drive growth and engagement
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders
• Experience cross-compiling codebase on different mobile platforms

Responsibilities

• Lead in the architecture and design of scalable, easily maintainable solutions to allow development of features and support greater users
• Play a key role in shaping technical roadmaps
• Prioritise features and improvements based on business objectives and technical feasibility
• Conduct regular design and code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and maintain code quality
• Drive continuous improvement of engineering standards, tooling, and processes
• Identify areas for optimisation and implement solutions to enhance team productivity and code quality
