Summary
Join Bounteous x Accolite, a leading digital transformation consultancy, and contribute to innovative digital solutions. As a key team member, you will collaborate on projects, develop and maintain applications, and ensure code quality. The role requires extensive experience in Node.js, JavaScript, and AWS, along with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies. You will actively participate in scalable website and web application development, designing, developing, and consuming APIs. The ideal candidate possesses a CS/Engineering degree and 7+ years of professional programming experience. This position offers the opportunity to learn new technologies and contribute to a dynamic team.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a degree in CS/Engineering
- Willing to learn new technologies and the aptitude to come up to speed quickly
- 7+ years of professional programming experience
- 5+ years Node.js , object-oriented programming, MVC applications, API development, and web development experience
- Proficiency with JavaScript
- Experience in AWS platform (knowledge of Lambda)
- Experience in DynamoDB and other backend related technologies
- Familiarity with the Agile development processes, including the use of coding standards and systems for version control, build, , regression testing
- Actively participated in scalable website and web application development
- Hands-on experience designing/developing/consuming APIs , AWS experience
Responsibilities
- Work with a team to solve problems and deliver project work for our clients
- Learn new technologies (with support from the team) as needed to support client work
- Create effectively tested, re-usable, and efficient code, Support continuous improvement by staying up-to-date on technology
- Work collaboratively with a team in an Agile environment
- Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
- Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
- Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with serverless technologies and architectures
- ECommerce experience
