Join Docplanner as a Lead Product Designer and contribute to creating a seamless experience for millions of patients and healthcare providers. You will work within the Payments Squad, focusing on improving payment systems within the Practice Management and Efficiency Product Area. Requirements
- Fluency in English
- Extensive and proven experience in Product Design, with a track record of leading successful design projects from inception to execution
- Strategic thinkingβwith the ability to drive product vision and design strategy autonomously and impact-driven decision-making
- Expertise with design tools such as Figma and advanced prototyping tools, along with experience in developing and maintaining design systems
- Strong experience in hypothesis generation, experimentation, A/B testing, and data-informed decision-making
- Demonstrated leadership in collaborating with cross-functional teams including product management, research, engineering, and data analysis to deliver business and user value
- Experience working with data, business KPIs, and success metrics to align design efforts with broader company goals
- Deep understanding of systems thinking and component-based design principles, with the ability to scale design practices across teams
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale clearly to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Skilled in giving and receiving feedback to elevate the quality of design work across the team
- Adaptability navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities without compromising quality or momentum
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS to effectively discuss technical constraints and opportunities with development teams
- A portfolio featuring examples of your design work and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with product managers, engineers, and key stakeholders to align on strategic goals and ensure successful execution of design solutions across the organization
- Drive the design vision and strategy, continuously iterating on solutions based on user insights, data analysis, and evolving market trends to push for product innovation and excellence
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of designers, cultivating a culture of continuous learning, design excellence, and growth within the organization
- Be a key advocate for user-centered design principles, embedding empathy and user research at the core of the product development process
- Own and guide the evolution of our design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and flexibility across products, while also contributing to the overall design language
- Stay at the forefront of design and technology trends, identifying opportunities to integrate new tools, methodologies, and approaches that will elevate the user experience and maintain a competitive edge
- Represent the company as a thought leader in the design community, through speaking engagements, publications, or participation in industry events
- Lead the design research process, including user testing sessions and usability studies, to validate design decisions and gather timely and actionable insights that drive informed design solutions
- Champion and shape the company's design culture, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and creative environment where diverse perspectives are encouraged, and innovative ideas thrive
