Lead Research Intern

Summary

Join Soda as a Lead Research Intern and contribute to the go-to-market team by building and refining high-quality outbound lead lists. Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and a founder to identify and prioritize target accounts and decision-makers. Your work will directly impact pipeline generation and scale outreach efforts. This detail-oriented role offers a high-impact opportunity with potential for full-time employment as an SDR. The internship involves supporting Soda's Launch Week, introducing new features daily. Success in this role will be measured by meaningful contributions to Launch Week.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and account research: Identify and enrich leads across target accounts using tools like LinkedIn Maintain lead data quality and ensure accurate mapping to personas, industry verticals, and technologies Research and document relevant insights on accounts to support personalized outreach
• List-building and campaign support: Support campaign list creation for outbound, ABM, and event-based programs Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to align on ICP and persona targeting Iterate and improve segmentation logic based on campaign performance
• Operational enablement: Clean and structure data before upload to CRM or marketing automation platforms Analyze bounce rates, reply rates, and engagement to inform targeting strategies Identify and document patterns in lead quality and outreach outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

• STEM or engineering background, or interest in AI/data
• Prior startup, tech sales, or fast-paced work experience
• Business, economics, or related academic background
