Summary
Join Experian's contact center technology team as a Lead Software Development Engineer and lead the development of Intelligent Virtual Assistant (IVA) customer experiences using NLP and ML technologies. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable software systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical guidance, and ensure the performance and reliability of IVA applications. This role requires 3-5 years of relevant experience with Amelia and NICE CXone, proficiency in Groovy and Python, and experience with AWS technologies. You will participate in an on-call rotation. Requirements
- Have 3 to 5 years of relevant product or engineering experience, with a focus on Amelia and NICE CXone
- Be proficient in Groovy and Python. Have experience in Java. Have an in-depth understanding of AWS technologies such as DynamoDB and Lambda. Have experience with tools like Git, Insomnia, VS Code, and Co-Polit
- Participate in an on-call rotation
- Have familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
- Have an understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design
- Have knowledge of security best practices and tools for secure software development
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and maintainable software systems using Groovy, Python, and Java
- Collaborate with product managers and internal customers to define new solutions to increase containment, consumer satisfaction and implement new features for Intelligent Virtual Assistant (IVA) applications
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices for software development, including testing and documentation
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, promoting a collaborative team environment
- Assess and optimize the performance of IVA applications, ensuring performance and responsiveness
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of the software
- Create comprehensive technical documentation for developed features, configurations, and systems
