Requirements

• At least 5 years of engineering experience
• Leadership experience
• Strong background in software architecture
• Experience in mentoring and developing engineering talent
• Communicate complex ideas effectively and align team efforts
• Experienced with agile methodologies and committed to continuous improvement
• Familiar with backend development in NodeJS, Typescript, Express, and AWS services
• Experience with Postgres and CI/CD tools like GitLab, GitHub, or Jenkins

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering process from conception to deployment
• Lead software design and architectural decisions
• Collaborate with Product and Design to define project requirements and goals
• Meet customers to gather requirements and translate into product roadmaps
• Manage cycle planning and delivery, estimation, engineering resource allocation
• Conduct code reviews and manage releases
• Mentor engineers, fostering a strong engineering culture of growth and high performance
• Develop solutions for ambiguous problems, collaborating with Product, Design, and Customer Success

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with remote or distributed teams
• Involvement in open-source or personal projects
• Knowledge of LLMs, AI or machine learning
