Summary
Join Clari's marketing team as a fully remote Web Operations Engineer, working from anywhere in the US. You will collaborate with marketers, designers, and developers to build and optimize features for Clari's global web properties. This role involves defining, architecting, and building a website for Product-Led-Growth and a Web Operations function. You will apply your technical and problem-solving skills to overcome cross-functional challenges across the marketing stack, from code development to deployment and integration with other systems. You will establish best practices, build solutions, and coach stakeholders on CMS usage. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills, communication abilities, and experience with various CMS systems and marketing technologies.
Requirements
- You are able to work independently and efficiently in situations of ambiguity; you know when to check in for alignment before wasting cycles, and when to drive forward to a finished product that will pass stakeholder reviews
- Proactive approach to site security and technical performance
- Able to identify both high-yield projects and opportunities, and also demonstrate the fortitude to drive through routine housekeeping requirements with efficiency and a high attention-to-detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a knack for explaining complex technical concepts to marketers, designers, and other stakeholders
- Demonstrable experience onboarding cross-functional teams to CMS workflows, especially during large-scale projects or transitioning teams to new systems
Responsibilities
- Fluency and efficiency in all front-end technologies used for dynamically-driven content-management systems, and for headless/static environments, including: HTML, SASS/CSS, and PHP; as well as JS, Vue/React, etc
- Experience with Optimizely/Episerver and development for Azure, .NET and ASP environments. Fluency in C# and back-end infrastructures
- Further experience and working knowledge of other dynamic CMS systems (such as Wordpress, Drupal, etc) as well as headless/static frameworks and workflows
- DevOps: mastery of code pipeline and deployment methodologies and tools: GIT, CI/CD, etc. Establish and own best-practices for the security and scalability of web-application assets
- Advanced ability to translate design, functional, and IA-requirements to scalable CMS components and structures
- Familiarity with modern Design and Content tools, workflows and formats; Figma, Markdown, SVG, Lottie, etc
- Thorough understanding of UX-principles that put the user first, how to translate Brand principles into scalable Design Systems, and how to translate user-stories to deliver coded components. Ability to collaborate with Designers and CMS-stakeholders to create wireframes, scope technical implementations, and distill requirements down to scalable components that align with the Brand principles
- Expertise and experience solving end-to-end technical issues across the full marketing stack, including Consent Management Platforms (like OneTrust), Marketo, SFDC, Google Tag Manager, GA4, and other Business-Information integrations such as Tableau and Looker
- Coach/Player approach to content-publication: inform and guide stakeholders about application of design system components, assist/train content-producers on the use of the CMS; also ready and able to QA and build/publish content as needed
