Summary

Join Emerson Human Capital Consulting Inc. as a Learning and Development SAP Implementation Consulting Manager. This 1099 contract position allows for remote work and offers a competitive hourly rate of $75-$95. You will be responsible for managing and delivering successful SAP implementation projects for external clients, ensuring projects meet or exceed client expectations. This role requires extensive experience in learning and development, project management, and instructional design, specifically within SAP implementations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. While professional certifications are beneficial, they are not mandatory. This is an opportunity to work with a leading change management consulting firm known for its expertise in behavior change and high-profile clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years external learning and development project-based consulting/training or instructional design experience
  • Minimum of 5 years program/project management experience
  • SAP implementation training experience
  • Expert level experience in instructional design principles and best practices
  • Superior business/technical writing and editing skills
  • Demonstrated experience as a project manager using proven methodologies
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Significant experience working with people at all levels of an organization
  • Demonstrated ability influencing and supporting senior leadership
  • Experience and comfort in ambiguous, agile, and flexible environments

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all projects are meeting or exceeding the terms in the clientโ€™s statement of work
  • Conduct thorough needs and gap analyses in competencies, skills, processes, curricula, audience, organization, etc. and connecting the solution to business outcomes and metrics, which may involve documenting current and future-state business processes and mapping to user roles
  • Design and develop or guide the development of instructionally sound, creative, and exemplary learning solutions with high impact results that leave a lasting effect (e.g., competency modeling, curriculum strategy and design, blended learning paths including ILT, eLearning, simulation, self-study, reflection, coaching, practice, etc.)
  • Manage client projects: delivering on time, on budget, and with unparalleled quality standards that fit within each clientโ€™s unique constraints
  • Manage, motivate, and guide internal and external Learning and Development teams
  • Anticipate organizational changes that come with large-scale implementations
  • Work with clients to re-tool and re-skill their people, so they support the new way of doing business
  • Build an approach that involves and engages those impacted by the change and ensuring appropriate sponsorship from management
  • Facilitate creative working sessions and deliver training sessions
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certification (PMP, CLP, CPLP, CHRP) related to project management, change management, learning, or human resource management
  • Competency design and development experience
  • Curriculum design and development experience
  • Blended training program design and development experience
  • Process documentation and role mapping experience
  • ELearning design using authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Captivate, EnableNow, uPerform, WalkMe, Camtasia, etc. experience
  • Big 4 Consulting experience
  • Willingness to travel
