Requirements

  • A Juris Doctorate is required
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience is required
  • Must be admitted to the bar in the United States
  • Proven experience in drafting and negotiating contracts is essential
  • Exceptional skills in writing, research, communication, negotiation, and organization are crucial
  • Ability to work independently and make sound judgments in a fast-paced environment is a must

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, analyze, and negotiate contracts and vendor agreements both domestically and internationally
  • Handle commercial disputes and coordinate with outside counsel in litigation matters
  • Serve as the point of contact for legal questions within the firm, providing guidance on corporate matters, insurance, labor and employment, and intellectual property
  • Support merger and acquisition activities, including negotiation, due diligence, contract drafting, and integration processes
  • Provide support for firm licensing and corporate matters, ensuring adherence to risk management and contracting policies, and facilitating their implementation across the organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred experience in the architectural, engineering, or construction industry
  • Experience in software and licensing is advantageous
