Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working on tech-related legal issues (e.g., consumer protection, privacy, data security, and/or intellectual property)
• Broad legal knowledge that enables you to spot and resolve a variety of legal issues in product offerings (e.g., regulatory, contract, IP, privacy, and consumer protection)
• Licensed to practice law from an ABA-accredited law school and membership in good standing in one U.S. state bar

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day legal support and advice on DuckDuckGo’s global offerings throughout the product life cycle
• Work closely with product managers, engineers, copywriters, and other stakeholders across the company to help identify and manage a wide range of legal issues, including consumer protection, privacy, data security, and intellectual property
