Requirements

• At least 3 years’ post admission experience gained in a top-tier or strong mid-tier firm
• Demonstrated in-house experience
• Current legal practising certificate in NSW
• Motivated team player who takes initiative and ownership of matters
• Commercial-minded and pragmatic

Responsibilities

• Support the General Counsel and Senior Legal Counsel in the team across all business units (including corporate, governance, commercial contracts, employment, IP, insurance)
• Support our Senior Legal Counsel (Commercial) in drafting, negotiating and managing commercial contracts (primarily SaaS contracts)
• Support the General Counsel on strategic corporate transactions
• Assist the team in the development of systems and processes to help shape and build the Legal function
• Support the team in the management of and work effectively with, external legal advisers
