Summary
Join The Mill Adventure, a start-up building innovative products for the iGaming industry, as a Legal Counsel. Reporting to the Legal and Compliance Director, you will provide legal advice on various matters related to remote gambling operations. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, managing litigation, assisting in M&A activities, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of legal team experience, mandatory iGaming experience, and a legal degree. Requirements
- 3-5 yearβs experience as part of a legal team
- IGaming experience is mandatory
- Legal degree is mandatory
- Excellent understanding of the iGaming landscape
- Business focused, practical and commercial facing

- High standards of meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to take the ownership of various tasks and work on your own initiative with minimum supervision
- Team player with a hands-on approach

Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of legal matters related to remote gambling operations, including but not limited to licensing, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, commercial contracts, data protection, and advertising
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including but not limited to licensing agreements, partnerships, vendor contracts, marketing agreements, NDAs, SLAs, DPAs, EULAs etc
- Support the legal team in managing litigation matters, disputes, and potential legal risks, working closely with external counsel as needed
- Assist in M&A and corporate transactional activities, conducting due diligence and providing legal guidance on deal structures and negotiations
- Lead internal and external third-party onboarding, due diligence, Know Your Customer, and annual reviews, ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing regulations
- Assist in new market entries, application for new licences and certifications
- Stay current with developments in the remote gambling industry and contribute to the company's strategic planning and decision-making processes
