Legal Intern

Summary

Join our fast-growing and dynamic team as a Legal Support Specialist to provide effective support to the legal counsels in charge of Data & IT Legal matters.

Requirements

• Native or fluent french
• Fluent english (Oxford: C1 or equivalent)
• Autonomy, rigor, intellectual curiosity, team spirit, initiative
• Excellent writing skills
• Academic background in French law (university degree)
• Basic knowledge in Data privacy and/or transparency/anti-gifts
• Previous internship in a law firm or in the legal team of a tech or healthcare company

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate agreements linked to compliance activities
• Liaise with internal teams on contracts and specific issues
• Support the legal team on compliance matters (Data privacy, Transparency, Anti-Gifts)
• Review memos from law firms and summarize them in a table
• Participate to the analysis of new regulations applying to Owkin when opening new countries
• Regularly contribute to and refine Owkin’s templates, policies and processes
• Draft, review and negotiate NDAs in full autonomy
