Summary

Join Airbnb's Legal Investigations team as an Investigations Associate and contribute to the resolution of legal matters. You will manage complex investigations, provide key investigative information and testimony for legal matters, and support the legal team with your expertise. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with 3-4 years of experience in a legal, policy, or regulatory field. Requirements

  • Minimum 3-4 years experience working in a legal, policy or regulatory field
  • Availability to work 40 hours a week typically during Pacific time zone business hours, with flexibility for occasional court/hearing-driven needs
  • Strong analytical skills - ability to prepare concise, accurate and relevant reports for Legal based on platform investigations and understanding of claims/requests
  • Experience with a variety of web-based platforms and systems. The ability to learn these systems quickly and build expert-level knowledge, as needed
  • Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex, sensitive, and urgent investigations and research for legal matters and provide information and findings to various stakeholders
  • Coordinate cross functional efforts at the direction of legal
  • Participate as a witness in declarations, depositions, hearings, and trials
  • Contribute to team initiatives, including operational improvements
  • Provide key investigative information and testimony for legal matters including user demands and litigation complaints
  • Assist legal by taking action on accounts as directed in order to resolve pre-litigation consumer demands, complaints and other issues
  • Uphold the professionalism and confidentiality of the department at the highest level
  • Engage with senior stakeholders for the resolution of problems and support the legal team with knowledge and expertise on a wide range of topics
