Requirements

• Fintech Expertise: You have substantial experience in the fintech or payment sectors, with a proven track record of handling Legal frameworks for financial products
• AI Implementation: You understand the intersection of AI and Legal processes, with experience in implementing or overseeing AI-driven solutions in a Legal context
• Product Legal Experience: You have demonstrated success in creating and maintaining terms and conditions for financial products, particularly in credit-related services
• Strategic Thinking: You can balance business objectives with Legal requirements while ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions
• Leadership Skills: You have experience leading cross-functional teams and can drive collaboration between Legal and product teams effectively
• Languages: fluency in English is required; proficiency in French, Italian, German or Spanish is a strong advantage

Responsibilities

• Drive the development and maintenance of comprehensive Legal frameworks for existing, and new financial products (Payment, Financial Tools, Credit, etc.)
• Negotiate robust/strong contractual terms with our product partners
• Lead the implementation of AI solutions within the Legal team, other Qonto teams, and the Qonto product itself, establishing best practices and governance frameworks
• Drive the adoption of innovative Legal tech solutions across the department and the company
• Ensure seamless Legal compliance across all European markets where Qonto operates
• Partner with product, tech, operations, regulatory, and other teams to provide expert legal guidance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate legal compliance seamlessly into product workflows and contractual relationships with partners and third-party providers
