Summary

Join Xero's Legal Operations team as a Project Manager, overseeing technology implementations and supporting the legal team's technology stack. You will manage projects, provide user support, develop knowledge management processes, drive technology adoption (including AI), and contribute to OKR planning. Success involves delivering on department OKRs, ensuring high user satisfaction with legal technology, and effectively managing legal team finances. Requirements

  • Technical expertise (and preferably accreditation) in either SAFE, Lean Six Sigma, Change Management, Design Thinking or Product Management
  • Excellent, people focused communication skills

  • Ability to work and to build strong relationships as part of a globally dispersed team
  • Fast adopter of new technologies and strength in supporting team members to utilise new technologies and tools
  • Previous experience in either legal operations, business consulting, technology transformation (or similar)
  • 5+ years project management experience. Ideally this will include experience leading multiple medium sized initiatives concurrently
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, Asana and Slack

Responsibilities

  • Project management of legal team transformation projects
  • Managing technology implementations and providing user support and system administration for legal technology systems (Matter and Knowledge Management, IP Management, Governance Risk and Compliance, Ebilling, Contract Management)
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge management processes and systems
  • Driving adoption of legal team technology including AI
  • Contributing to the legal team OKR planning cycle, tracking progress and coordinating project teams
  • Project management of complex legal matters
  • Supporting the management of legal team finances, including budgeting, invoicing, and tracking outside counsel spend

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience within in-house legal functions or law firm practice management
