Summary

Join our team as an L2 Support Engineer and provide technical support for integrations, data changes, and troubleshooting between HCSS, Dynamics Solomon, OMS (Penta), and ACS (Payroll) systems. You will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving integration failures, data discrepancies, and synchronization issues. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, experience in integration support, and expertise in handling data flows between enterprise applications. You will work closely with L1 support, developers, and business teams to resolve complex issues, document processes, and ensure data integrity and compliance with business rules across systems.

Requirements

  • Experience with EDI, APIs (REST/SOAP), ESB, or middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, SSIS, Talend)
  • Knowledge of file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS) and data formats (XML, JSON, CSV)
  • Hands-on experience with Dynamics Solomon, HCSS, OMS (Penta), and ACS (Payroll)
  • Understanding of HR/Payroll data flows and business processes
  • Strong SQL skills (MS SQL Server, Oracle) for data analysis and troubleshooting
  • Ability to write and optimize queries for data extraction and validation
  • Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) for automation tasks
  • Familiarity with Splunk, ELK Stack, or similar log analysis tools
  • Experience with job schedulers (Control-M, Autosys)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical teams
  • Incident and problem management experience (ITIL knowledge is a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 2 (L2) support for integrations between HCSS, Dynamics Solomon, OMS (Penta), and ACS (Payroll)
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration failures, data discrepancies, and synchronization issues
  • Perform data validation, transformation, and correction as needed
  • Work closely with L1 support, developers, and business teams to resolve complex issues
  • Document processes, integration workflows, and troubleshooting steps
  • Assist in testing and deploying integration fixes and enhancements
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with business rules across systems
  • Handle incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and preventive measures

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in L2/L3 support, integration support, or middleware administration
  • Knowledge of ERP integration best practices
  • ITIL certification or familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) processes
  • Certifications in integration tools, SQL, or ERP systems are a plus
