Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven experience as a Linux administrator
  • Extensive understanding of Linux operating systems (Oracle Enterprise Linux, Red Hat)
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Bash, Python, and Perl
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools (such as Ansible, Puppet, HPSA)
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware)
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented approach
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong adaptability and flexibility to manage changing priorities and dynamic environments
  • At least intermediate English language knowledge
  • Willingness to participate in on-call
  • Understanding of security best practices and experience in implementing security measures on Linux systems

Responsibilities

  • Provide OS support for Linux machines (mainly Red Hat and Oracle Enterprise Linux)
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of Linux-based infrastructure
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect Linux systems from unauthorized access and ensure compliance with industry regulations
  • Automate system administrative tasks
  • Handling incident tickets
  • Clarifying and implementing change tickets
  • Processing orders (machine deployment or extension, user creation, etc.)
  • Work with other internal teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications (such as RHCSA, RHCE)
  • Experience with virtualization (such as VMWARE)
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
  • Understanding network protocols and services (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Knowledge of centralized authentication (LDAP)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience with AWS Control Tower
