Listing Specialist

Join AvantStay, a rapidly growing tech-enabled hospitality company, as a Listing Specialist! This fully remote, global role requires strong organizational and analytical skills to support the listings team. You will be responsible for data analysis, listing optimization, cross-team collaboration, and system mastery. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This position offers flexible hours and the ability to work from anywhere, with a pay range of USD $8-14/hour based on experience and location. You will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality vacation rental listings that drive bookings.

Requirements

• Possess exceptional organizational and time management skills—ability to juggle multiple listings at once while maintaining high attention to detail
• Have a strong eye for visual content—ability to select compelling property photos that enhance guest appeal and drive bookings
• Demonstrate copywriting, copyediting, and proofreading skills to ensure listing accuracy and brand consistency
• Possess an analytical mindset—comfortable interpreting performance data and using insights to optimize listings
• Be comfortable navigating internal systems (PMS, OTA platforms, content management tools) and following SOPs
• Be able to work collaboratively across multiple teams while managing independent tasks in a fast-paced remote environment
• Have confidence in stakeholder communication, including with internal teams, property owners, and external partners
• Be fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
• Be available to work Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours

Responsibilities

• Pull, analyze, and interpret performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
• Track key metrics such as occupancy rates, revenue performance, and operational efficiency to provide actionable insights
• Present data-driven recommendations to internal teams to optimize listing performance
• Conduct regular listing audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to brand standards
• Review and optimize titles, descriptions, amenities, and photos for consistency and competitiveness
• Work with the Listings team to implement enhancements that improve ranking, engagement, and conversion rates
• Work closely with Marketing, Listings, and Account Management teams to align listing optimization strategies with broader company goals
• Communicate insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders, including property owners and team members
• Support process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency
• Learn and navigate internal property management systems (PMS) and distribution platforms
• Create, maintain, and update reports using Google Sheets, Monday.com, and data dashboards to track performance
• Develop automated tools and reporting mechanisms to improve data accessibility and decision-making

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience with listing audits, content optimization, or digital quality assurance
• Have a background in vacation rentals, real estate, hospitality, or e-commerce
• Be able to work Pacific, Mountain, or Central Time (U.S.) hours
