Summary

The job is for a lawyer position in a Northwest regional law firm specializing in seven key industry sectors. The ideal candidate should have a Juris Doctor degree, admission to practice law in Alaska, relevant experience, and knowledge of Alaska Native Corporations and tribal governments. Preferred experience includes government contracting and in-depth knowledge of Alaska Native Corporations. The pay range is $165,000 - $250,000 with potential bonuses.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to practice law in Alaska
• Experience in corporate governance, government contracting, and relevant federal programs (e.g., SBA 8(a) Business Development Program)
• Knowledge of Alaska Native Corporations and tribal governments

Responsibilities

Litigate complex disputes for both plaintiffs and defendants

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on matters with a focus on government contracting
• In-depth knowledge of Alaska Native Corporations, the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act and related legal issues

Benefits

• Pay range: $165,000 - $250,000
