Load Coverage Specialist

Summary

In this remote role, you will make high-volume outbound calls to secure freight transportation capacity, handle inbound carrier calls, and manage shipment capacity. You will also resolve transit issues, maintain communication with sales teams, and ensure accurate documentation. Requirements

• Possess excellent communication skills; effectively communicate with carriers, internal teams, and customers over the phone and via email
• Have upper-intermediate + English Level
• Have proven experience in logistics coordination or a similar role
• Possess a strong understanding of transportation regulations and logistics procedures
• Possess excellent organizational and time management skills
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software
• Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
• Have the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Possess problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-volume outbound calls to carriers nationwide to secure capacity for freight transportation
• Handle incoming calls from carriers interested in hauling freight and provide them with necessary information
• Sell shipments over the phone to carriers who meet the company's strict requirements, ensuring that all loads are covered efficiently
• Act as a point of contact for carriers and internal teams to resolve any issues that occur during transit, such as delays, route changes, or damages
• Maintain regular communication with the customer sales team, providing them with tracking updates and keeping them informed about the status of their customers' shipments
• Ensure accurate documentation of all communications and transactions related to load coverage and shipment management
