Summary

The job is for a Localization Project Manager at Truelogic, a leading provider of nearshore staff augmentation services. The role involves working with the world's largest payment processor company, managing source files, coordinating translations, and ensuring linguistic accuracy and consistency.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills (English & Dutch)
• Familiarity with Mac, Google shared docs and sheets, annotating screenshots, Adobe Acrobat Reader/Writer, Atom text editor, jira, screenshotting
• Knowing how to handle text strings, identify text from strings ID’s in xml, javascript, .properties, json file formats; knowing how to work with variables/placeholders in text strings

Responsibilities

• Work in the world's largest payment processor company
• Occupy a unique position in the market, by playing a critical role in ensuring the successful adaptation of our software for the target market
• Coordinate the translation and localization process for the software launch
• Manage source files and version control systems
• Collaborate closely with translators, editors, and localization engineers
• Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines
• Conduct regular reviews of translated content
• Work closely with internal stakeholders
• Coordinate with external localization vendors and freelancers as needed
• Perform quality assurance checks on localized software builds

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with translation platforms and language technology tools is advantageous - (CAT tools) such as SDL Trados, XTM, Idiom, Lilt, Smartling
